AC Repair in Saint Croix Falls & Balsam Lake, WI
An air conditioner that runs without cooling the house is a reason to call for service. Daryl Schweitzer provides AC repair and troubleshooting in Balsam Lake, Saint Croix Falls and Wisconsin communities within 45 miles of Eureka Center.
AC running but not cooling your home?
Warm air from the vents
Explain whether the air conditioner is blowing warm air throughout the house or whether only certain rooms are uncomfortable. Tell Daryl when the problem began and whether it is constant or comes and goes.
The system will not turn on
Mention what the thermostat displays and whether you can hear either part of the system running. Avoid assuming the entire air conditioner needs replacement before the problem has been assessed.
Cooling stops or cannot keep up
If the AC repeatedly stops, runs for long periods without reaching the temperature setting, or has visible ice, describe those symptoms when requesting repair. The right next step depends on the equipment and the fault.
AC repair for Balsam Lake homes and cabins
When you call about a cabin or second home, provide the Wisconsin address, when someone can meet Daryl and how long the cooling problem has been present. Share whether the property already has central air or another type of cooling system. Confirm scheduling directly before making a special trip to the property.
Repair the existing AC or replace it?
Repair cost, equipment condition and the needs of the building all affect the decision. Schweitzer offers air conditioner service and replacement, with free estimates on new equipment. Ask Daryl to explain the options for your system rather than selecting a replacement based only on its age or a symptom.
Make your service call count.
Have your property address, a description of the cooling problem and the equipment make and model ready if you can find them. For a cabin or second home, explain when someone can provide access. Call Daryl directly to discuss the work and confirm an appointment.

Can a mini-split cool a space without ducts?
A ductless mini-split can be an option for a room or building without ductwork. Describe the space and your heating and cooling goals to Daryl to discuss whether installation makes sense.
